Last year we replaced garlic mustard with plugs of foamflower, Tiarella cordifolia, and it is exciting to see them doing well! If you look closely, you may also see another native plant, wood aster, which is also being used as competition with the garlic mustard.  The wood aster will bloom later in the season.
