Get Involved

Lower Merion Township counts on the Friends to support the construction and maintenance of the Cynwyd Heritage Trail, and we count on our volunteers. 

Volunteers of all ages and skill levels are invited to join us on fun, rewarding outdoor stewardship projects, like planting trees and other plants, removing invasive plants, collecting and planting seeds, and picking up trash.

Need a way to work off your court-ordered community service in the Philadelphia area or in Lower Merion Township, while giving back to the community?  We can help. Working on the Trail is a meaningful experience and trail maintenance is an ideal way to complete court ordered community service quickly. We have flexible work arrangements and weekend availability.
