The Cynwyd Heritage Trail may seem like a stand alone trail, but since the opening of the Manayunk bridge, it connects to numerous trails on the other side of the river. The Trail also connects directly to Laurel Hill West Cemetery, Westminster Cemetery, Bala Cynwyd Playground, and Cynwyd Station Park.
And it doesn’t end there! There are plans to extend the Trail from Cynwyd Station to City Ave, City Ave to the Mann Music Center, and down to the Schuylkill Riverfront via the Connelly tract. Currently, there are four main entrances to the Trail.
Cynwyd Station Park: 321 Conshohocken State Road, Bala Cynwyd, PA 19004
Bala Cynwyd Park: 398 Trevor Lane, Bala Cynwyd, PA 19004
Barmouth Station: 175 East Levering Mill Road, Bala Cynwyd PA 19004 (at the end of E. Levering Mill Rd after crossing Belmont Avenue)
CVS Parking Lot: 260 Rock Hill Rd, Bala Cynwyd, PA 19004 (Rock Hill Road & Belmont Avenue)

What: Hosted on the fourth Saturday of April, Celebrate Trails Day is an annual spring celebration of America’s trails. Started by Rails to Trails Conservancy in 2013, the celebration encourages people across the country to get outside and enjoy the nation’s exceptional trails and trail systems. Come out to the Trail with us to experience and share the joy and impact of trails.

What: Join the Friends to help steward the Trail. Tools, gloves, instructions, and light refreshments provided!
Where: Round trip from Barmouth Trailhead to Bowman's Hill
What: Join the Friends of the Cynwyd Heritage Trail for a day at Bowman's Hill Wildflower Preserve! Click here to secure your spot to enjoy round trip transportation from the Trail to Bowman's Hill in New Hope, plus admission to the preserve, a guided tour with a naturalist, and access to their award-winning native plant nursery, just in time to treat yourself or the mom in your life for Mother's Day. Pack a bag lunch and enjoy seeing the May ephemerals in bloom! Space is limited, first come first served. Register by May 2, $20 per person.
