Join expert birder Gregg Gorton at 8:30 am on Saturday, September 7, starting at the Barmouth trailhead.  Gregg has led numerous walks at nearby West Laurel Cemetery and he is also a long-time volunteer bird walk leader for the John Heinz National Wildlife Refuge and the Lower Merion Conservancy.  Gregg is also a Fellow of the Delaware Valley Ornithological Club and you can click on his picture at the left to see his profile and reach about some of his achievements.. 

The trail is a great place to look for birds, with many different habitats. It's especially nice during migration seasons in spring and fall. Birders of all levels are welcome, including children accompanied by an adult.  Bring your binoculars but not your pets. We submit results to Pennsylvania eBird.  You can view our lists, and those of other birders, on the eBird website.
